They can meet high production demands promptly and complete high-quality work with expertise.
General laborers must also adhere to company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Principle Duties &
Responsibilities:
Uses proper safety equipment to ensure surfaces are adequately prepared for all operationsMaintain shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, etc.
for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safetyCoordinate with shop supervisor and other personnel for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently, on time, and with no defectsAssist others as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activitiesAdhere to safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and surrounding coworkersPerform other related duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
High School diploma or GEDMust be able to read, write, and comprehend EnglishNeed to be able to read metric tapesAble to adapt to work priorities, communicate well, meet deadlines and schedules, and work as part of a teamCommitment to work safety and actively participating in our safety cultureCommitment to attendance policy and proceduresQuality, accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability of work performedWillingness to learn and contribute to the success of your teamWelding experience is preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements:
Able to lift 40 pounds and carry 30 poundsMust be able to push /move objects up to 50 lbs.
